SAN ANTONIO RIOT HEADLINING / MAJESTIC THEATER GUEST SPOT

The first week of April I got to headline a club that is very special to me, Riot San Antonio. This club is right off the riverwalk. Ever since my first shows at this club I knew it would be a staple in the Texas comedy scene. I have been building my comedy career in Texas for nearly seven years. I have been fortunate enough to be welcomed with opened arms to nearly every club in the entire state. I say that to explain that I have been to almost every single club in Texas and when I say Riot is one of the very best, I mean it.

HEADLINING SET

Headlining is the goal, touring is the goal. I'm in the beginning ages of being able to headline and tour on my own name. Getting this opportunity is so exciting to me even though I'm not selling tickets as much as I would dream to (YET!) I truly could not care less about that. All I want to do is put in the work to make my hour as funny and true to me as possible. I learned a lot doing even just that one show! If I could do it again I would reorder my set a little differently but I had a lot of fun and the crowd seemed to as well. I can guarantee I will be back headlining San Antonio Riot soon enough!

GETTING TO BRING FUNNY FRIENDS

Shows like this are so exciting because not only do I get to stretch my arms, do more time and go up last once the crowd is truly warmed up but I also get to bring my funny friends with me. For this show I brought the hilarious and ever so vetted comedian Monarey Martinez. Monarey moved to Austin around a year ago after a very decorated career in LA for like .... 8 ... 10 years?? Honestly I dont know but she's been around comedy forever she used to personally train Betty White when she was 20 or something. You'd have to ask her, give her a follow on instagram if you see this @MonareyM ! Also side note she's one of the realest OG ride or die friends a girl could have. SO funny, loyal and patient with my nonsense and yapping. Very refreshing energy to be around! we stan.

GUEST SPOT MAJESTIC THEATER

Not only did I get to headline Riot Riverwalk but after that I got the opportunity to preform at what I think is the most beautiful theater in the entire state of Texas, the San Antonio Majestic Theater! Thanks to the incredibly generous Tony Hinchcliffe who allowed me to drop into the Killers of Kill Tony tour line up. I opened up the show with 10 mins and had a blast. It was thrilling to get to do 55 mins of stand up comedy at a club with 30 tickets sold and walk one block over to do a 10 min opening spot in a nearly 3000 seat theater! Thats the new up and coming San Antonio scene for you!
